Our obsession with French porcelain match strikers continues! Once used to hold matches and light them on the ridges, today use as a jewelry holder, for a candle, or simply as a de corative piece on its own. This particular advertising match strike would have been given by absinthe chaplet to bistros, restaurants and cafés to promote their brand. A stunning, large, heavy piece with gorgeous colours, and a unique history. Sourced from a brocante in Aix-en-Provence. dimensions: 4.25"dia x 2.5"H Show more
