Handcrafted Quality: Handwoven from rattan reed over a solid hardwood bottom by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border. This is a serving basket built to be passed down, not replaced. The Complete Bread Basket Warmer: All four pieces arrive in one box, the medium handwoven basket, the cloth liner, the cloth cover, and the microwave warming pad. Nothing needs to be ordered separately to warm bread at your table. Warm Bread for Up to 90 Minutes: Microwave the pad for 3 minutes and it gently radiates heat through the whole meal. No cords, no oven, nothing to plug in at the table. Sized for Family Suppers: Measures 13 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" tall on the outside. It holds 6 to 8 rolls or buns, a sliced baguette or sourdough, cornbread wedges, or a stack of tortillas. Washable Liner and Cover: The pre-shrunk cotton liner catches crumbs while the matching cover holds the warmth in, and both can be machine washed and dried. Choose cream, wine, blue, or green cloth, with Plain, Wine & Blue, or Wine & Green trim on the basket. Optional Touches: Add a solid brass plate engraved with up to two lines of your own text, or a set of protective feet for the basket, if you like. Both are optional, and the set is complete without them. American Heritage: Every basket is signed by the Amish weaver who made it and covered by our lifetime guarantee. A bread basket warmer sets the pace for the kind of supper where the rolls come out first and vanish fast. This medium 4-piece set brings the whole ritual together in one box. Microwave the warming pad for 3 minutes, set it in the basket, lay the liner over it, add your bread, and place the cover on top. From there the basket does the quiet work, keeping rolls, biscuits, tortillas, or a sliced loaf warm for up to 90 minutes, so the last person served gets the same soft bread as the first. The basket, the liner, the cover, and the microwave pad are all included. The directions are simple: 3 minutes in the microwave and the pad is ready, a heated bread basket with no cords and nothing to watch. At 13 1/2 inches long it holds 6 to 8 rolls without crowding the butter dish. If you bake for a bigger crowd, the same set comes in a Large size, and there is a Small for lighter suppers. Between bakes, this is simply a handsome serving basket, on the counter with the day's loaf, on the table for taco night, or carrying biscuits out to the porch. It has also become a gift for the bread bakers in the family. One customer bought the set for her sister, who "enjoys baking bread for her family," and told us she loved "the size and all the 'extras' that came with it (warmer and cover)." Another wrote that she can't wait to have guests over "to use it and show it off." Every order ships gift-ready, with no prices in the box and a free gift note at checkout. Like every basket in our store, this warming basket set is handwoven by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, who sign each basket they weave. The reed is worked over a solid hardwood bottom, so the basket that warms Sunday dinner rolls this year can do the same for your grandchildren. It carries our lifetime guarantee and our no-questions return policy, shipping is free, and finished sets ship straight from the Shipping Barn.
