Handcrafted Quality: Rattan reed handwoven over a wood bottom in a low oval with a wrapped hardwood rim, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, and signed by the weaver who made it. The Family Supper Size: 13 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches at the rim and 4 1/4 inches tall: six to eight rolls, a batch of biscuits or a sliced loaf. How The Warming Works: Add the pad and the cover from this page and the rolls stay warm through second helpings; without them it is the bread basket for the everyday table. This is the one size in the family that takes an engraved brass plate. Measures: 13 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" tall. Contents not included. Three Trim Colors: Choose Plain, Wine & Blue, or Wine & Green. The color is woven in as dyed reed, not painted on, and on the plain finish the stain takes to each piece of wood in its own way. Optional Extras: The microwave warming pad, the hand-sewn cotton liner and the elastic-edged cloth cover are each optional and sold right on this page, with protective feet. The basket ships alone and is a bread basket without them. An engraved solid brass plate is offered on this size. American Heritage: Handwoven in the USA and signed by the Amish weaver who made it. Backed by our lifetime guarantee, with free shipping and no-questions returns on every order. "What a great idea a bread basket with a liner, a warmer, and a top to keep the heat in!!!" The liner and cover are pre-shrunk cotton broadcloth that machine wash and dry. Susanne added the plate and the feet: "The workmanship is amazing and the emblem looks perfect. The little feet are cute too!" Nancy chose the blue trim, which "really shows up weave beautifully", and Mary "ordered these for my 4 adult married children as Christmas gifts".
