The human body is extremely complex, with various biological switches that must function and operate in an ideal fashion. Methylation is the body’s mechanism that turns these biolo gical switches on and off for a host of body systems. When optimal methylation occurs, it has a significant positive impact on many biochemical pathways in the body involving neurotransmitters, detoxification, cardiovascular health, eye health, muscle health, bone health, fertility, and redox balance. Thorne’s Methylation Stack contains three supplements that support optimal methylation*: Methyl-Guard Plus®, Thorne’s most popular methylation supplement, contains betaine (also called trimethylglycine), 5-MTHF (active folate), methyl-B12 (active vitamin B12), P5P (active vitamin B6), and R5P (active vitamin B2) to promote healthy methylation for cardiovascular, cognitive, bone health, and more.* D-5,000 provides 5,000 IUs of vitamin D per capsule. Vitamin D is an essential nutrient for one of the pathways involved in homocysteine metabolism and methylation.* In addition to supporting healthy bones and muscles, vitamin D supports cardiovascular health and immune function.* Magnesium CitraMate is a combination of magnesium citrate and dimagnesium malate. Magnesium is essential for the health of the heart and blood vessels, brain, bones, muscles and lungs.* Show more
