These are solid steel mandrels used to remove dents from valve casings and to straighten casings if they are sprung. Easier, faster and more safe to use than reamers and almost impossible to damage a casing using these mandrels. They are not adjustable, so you must know the size you need or the brand and model of the instrument. Precision measuring is helpful. The recommended procedure for use:Mount the instrument on a wood assembly mandrel in a vise.Thoroughly clean the casings with F7 Premiere Metal Polish and Z10 Cold CleanerSelect the proper size mandrel for the instrument and insert it all the way into the casing. When ready to hit the mandrel, STRIKE SHARPLY. It is the quantity of hits that raises the dents and straightens casings, not the force used. Strike firmly-not hard.Use the side of a F5 rawhide mallet and strike the small end of the mandrel with many small and repeated taps. Use sideways and up and down hits. Aim at port intersections. ORDER THE EXACT SIZE. THESE MANDRELS ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE Order by the O.D. of the piston. Example: Yamaha .664 Due to the differences in manufacturing over the years it is highly RECOMMENDED to measure the valve piston. 0.631 York COR/TRPT 0.644 Imperial Creations Pocket CORNET 0.645 Blessing COR/TRPT 0.645 Roth, Sears COR/TRPT 0.645 Reynolds by Blessing COR/TRPT 0.645 Wards COR/TRPT 0.645 Schilke COR/TRPT 0.645 Boosey/Hawkes COR/TRPT 0.645 Orsi COR/TRPT 0.649 Jupiter Carol Brass COR/TRPT 0.65 Bundy/Bach TR300 COR/TRPT 0.65 Buescher-NEW COR/TRPT 0.65 Getzen COR/TRPT 0.65 Getzen VALVE T-BONE 0.65 Holton-OLD COR/TRPT 0.65 Mercedes II, Signet COR/TRPT 0.651 Windsor COR/TRPT 0.657 Schenkelaars COR/TRPT 0.658 Benge COR/TRPT 0.66 Holton COR/TRPT 0.66 King COR/TRPT 0.66 King ALTO HORN/MELL 0.66 Leblanc COR/TRPT 0.66 Leblanc ALTO HORN/MELL 0.66 Martin, Indiana COR/TRPT 0.66 Reynolds by Reynolds COR/TRPT 0.66 Shanghai COR/TRPT 0.661 Cleveland COR/TRPT 0.661 Selmer, French COR/TRPT 0.664 Conn, Japanese COR/TRPT 0.664 Bach, Mercedes I COR/TRPT 0.664 New Collegiate COR/TRPT 0.664 Yamaha T602R COR/TRPT 0.664 Reynolds by Olds COR/TRPT 0.664 Reynolds by Olds ALTO HORN/MELL 0.664 Yamaha COR/TRPT 0.665 Pan Am, Conn 16A COR/TRPT 0.665 Bundy, Mercedes II, Signet VALVE T-BONE 0.665 Olds COR/TRPT 0.665 Olds ALTO HORN/MELL 0.668 Couesnon COR/TRPT 0.668 Old Collegiate COR/TRPT 0.668 Old Holton ALTO HORN/MELL 0.672 Huttl COR/TRPT 0.673 Musica Austria COR/TRPT 0.674 Czechoslovakia COR/TRPT 0.68 Yamaha ALTO HORN/MELL 0.682 Conn (Old) COR/TRPT 0.682 Pan Am, Continental COR/TRPT 0.682 Buescher-Old COR/TRPT 0.684 Besson-Student Line ALTO HORN/MELL 0.685 Besson-1st Line COR/TRPT 0.686 East German COR/TRPT 0.714 Pan Am, Continental ALTO HORN/MELL 0.714 Pan Am, Continental VALVE T-BONE 0.715 Martin, Indiana ALTO HORN/MELL 0.728 Jupiter ALTO HORN/MELL 0.728 Jupiter VALVE T-BONE 0.737 King VALVE T-BONE 0.738 King MRCH.
