The Northwoods Runner Pattern by Cut Loose Press is a beautiful and versatile table runner design featuring rows of stylised trees created with mirror-image half rectangle blocks. This clever construction method allows the blocks to go together quickly while producing crisp, modern tree shapes with strong visual impact. With its red inner border, the runner has a festive holiday feel, making it perfect for Christmas décor. Change the accent colour, and this design easily transforms into a year-round runner suitable for winter themes, rustic homes, or nature-inspired settings. A dark background with white trees creates a dramatic winter woodland effect, while softer tones produce a calm, Scandinavian-style look. The pattern is designed to be efficient and accurate when used with the Creative Grids Half Rectangle Triangle Ruler, making it an excellent project for learning or reinforcing this popular quilting technique. As with all Cut Loose Press patterns, the instructions are clearly written and broken down into manageable steps for confident, stress-free sewing.
