Numeracy shapes early cognitive development and lays the groundwork for future academic success. This Numeracy Resource Pack fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills that children will carry with them throughout their lives. Numeracy supports early literacy by helping children understand the structure and patterns of language.Early exposure to numeracy plays a key role in stimulating brain development, especially in areas linked to reasoning and memory. When children interact with numbers, patterns, and shapes, using these resources they begin to develop a sense of logic and structure. These foundational numeracy experiences enhance several important cognitive functions: Problem-solving: Exploring the relationships between numbers helps build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Memory: Engaging with numbers, sequences, and patterns strengthens both short-term and long-term memory. Reasoning: Identifying differences in size, quantity, and shape supports the growth of logical reasoning abilities. This pack will enable children to explore measurement, size, weight, time, number, symbols, counting, early addition, shape, pattern, colour, geometry, one to one number correspondence, addition and subtraction all through play. The resources in this pack align with the guidelines set out for the Kinder Funding, Start Strong and Best Start Preschool Funding initiatives across Australia.Includes:1 x Scales (522185)1 x Measuring Cup Set of 4 (838147)1 x Measuring Spoon Set of 5 (838148)1 x Measuring Tape Pack of 12 (842277)1 x Measuring Tape Pack of 12 (842277)1 x Number Blocks 1-10 (842165)1 x Counting Magic Ball Set (841616)1 x Wooden Dice with Dots (838153)1 x Number Puzzles 1 – 10 (353000)1 Counting Diagram 1 – 5 (522176)1 x Counting Diagram 6 – 10 (522177)1 x Counting Diagram 11 – 20 (523195)1 x Hourglass Sand Clock Set of 5 (24505)1 x Figurogram (522231)1 x Mormels – Numbers (22901)1 x Find and Count (Up to 10) (900000145)1 x Dotsy Counting Game (307200)1 x Math Blocks (900000179)1 x Apple Tree Counting Set (342900)1 x Measuring Tools (24239)1 x Catch The Number (22800)1 x XXL Torreta (25512)
