Designed by Edward Carvalho-Monaghan, Odyssey is a portal into the mind of this unique artist. Edward fuses an eclectic mix of Gothic architectural detailing with the the bold flat colour of De Stijl, all focussed through the les of 60s psychedelia. The result? A world that feels both deeply historical and completely otherworldly. The concept behind Odyssey lies in the friction and fusion, between abstract thought and industrial process. Inspired by American packaging ephemera and French architectural catalogues, Edward imagined a mechanical space where ideas themselves could be manufactured, shaped, and repurposed. How to read the time Odyssey is simple to read: three central hands mark the hour, minute, and seconds, with a visible date ring running around the lower half of the dial. Made in London Every printable surface has been used, from the dial to the date ring, the underside of the crystal to the automatic rotor on the movement. The result is a layered, shifting composition that changes constantly as time moves forward.
