Genuine Motorola PMLN4620 D-Shell Receive-Only Earpiece with 3.5mm plug. Intrinsically Safe (FM/UL approved) for discreet, secure listening in hazardous locations with compatible RSMs. The Motorola PMLN4620 Receive-Only D-Shell Earpiece is designed for professionals who require clear, discreet, and safety-compliant communications.3 This genuine Motorola Original® accessory is universally compatible with any Motorola Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) that features a 3.5mm audio jack. The PMLN4620 utilizes a D-shell (or D-ring) style earpiece, which fits comfortably over the ear and provides a secure fit for extended use. It features a 3.5mm right-angle plug that connects to the RSM, muting the microphone's speaker and allowing the user to receive messages privately. Crucially, this accessory is FM/UL Intrinsically Safe (IS) Approved. When paired with an IS-rated radio (like the XPR, APX, or IS-CP200d series) and an IS-rated Remote Speaker Microphone, the PMLN4620 maintains the safety compliance of the entire system. This makes it a mandatory accessory for hazardous locations in utilities, manufacturing, and oil & gas where IS compliance is required. The coiled cord is specifically short to minimize snag hazards and keep the connection point near the shoulder-worn RSM.
