Ranunculus Red is a richly layered mixed media piece where acrylic painting and botanical printing intertwine, creating a quiet dialogue between artistic expression and the natural world. Four vases, bathed in warm hues of golden yellow and deep, resonant red, stand together in a gentle harmony, each one distinct, yet connected, echoing the essence of union. Soft washes of paint meet the textured imprint of real botanicals, while delicate charcoal accents ground the composition with subtle definition. The result is a balance between impression and reality: forms that feel both remembered and observed, structured yet fluid. There is a palpable sense of joy in the making; an artist’s celebration of florals not only as subjects, but as collaborators. Through this merging of techniques, Ranunculus Red becomes more than a still life; it is a tender reflection on togetherness, where nature and art meet, overlap, and quietly become one Printed on high quality Hahnemüle Pearl 285 GSM paper which offers vibrant colour reproduction and great detail.
