This online course focuses on the availability requirements, helping both frontline and operations staff understand how to apply the law and communicate it to customers. Regulation CC sets clear rules for when banks must make deposited funds available in transaction accounts. Bank employees will learn what qualifies as the “day of deposit,” how banking and business days differ, and what types of checks require next-day availability. The course also explains when longer holds are allowed, how to handle exception holds, and the importance of sending timely and accurate notices to customers. Whether you’re answering customer questions at the counter or processing deposits behind the scenes, this training will ensure your team follows the correct procedures and meets regulatory timelines.
