C3yoyodesign Revolve - World Champion Henson Chan Chun Hay Signature Yoyo The Revolve takes an interesting approach, having 5g aluminium rims instead of traditional caps, giving it that extra spin power. The gap can be adjusted by slightly twisting the yoyo - get the right response for any condition with ease. Official description: "Infusing 1A Craftsmanship into the 2A Soul" — Reinforced Traditional Contest Geometry × Subverting Traditional Design Language! Announcing the Very First Signature Yo-Yo for 2A HK Champion & World Champion Henson Chan Chun Hay: The Dual-Material Metal Ring Adjustable Next-Gen Contest 2A Yo-Yo "REVOLVE"! The name "REVOLVE" is direct and clear—symbolizing the ultimate core of 2A looping play: "Revolving." With 24 years of yo-yo experience, multiple Hong Kong 2A Champion titles, and a World Yo-Yo Contest 2A title under his belt, Henson Chan Chun Hay brings a wealth of expertise to his signature designs. The previously released Seeker (by YOU), proposed by Henson, marked an essential first step in his quest to push 2A evolution. After officially joining Team C3, Henson constantly contemplated a single question: How can we elevate modern 2A yo-yos into their next revolutionary transformation? The spark behind "REVOLVE" came from a casual observation by a non-yoyoer friend: "1A yo-yos look so high-end and luxurious that everyone wants to try them." This resonated deeply with Henson—2A players deserve a beautifully crafted, premium-looking yo-yo that doesn't look like a toy. Revolutionary Philosophy: 1A Engineering Meets Dual-Material Aluminum Rim PerformanceThere is a common myth that 2A yo-yos must compromise between fast looping and long spin times. Henson breaks this misconception: Fast looping actually requires exceptionally fast and stable spinning—enabling players to achieve both blazing looping speeds AND ultra-long spin times simultaneously! Removing Side Caps × Precision Aluminum Rim: The Revolve ditches traditional 2A plastic side caps in favor of an integrated inner aluminum ring weighing a massive 5g (with the yo-yo body kept at a sleek 19.6g). It maintains the most familiar sizing so players can feel right at home with no grip readjustment needed. Why an Internal Metal Rim Instead of an Outer Rim? To preserve the balanced, natural response required for proper looping feel and trajectory. Placing the metal rim extremely close to the gap area stabilizes the yo-yo's trajectory, making loops smoother and easier to control while delivering unmatched spin speeds that blow past any standard 2A yo-yo on the market. This dramatically boosts combo length and trick completion rates. Tailored for Modern Slick 24Strings: Through rigorous testing across multiple prototypes, the weight distribution was perfected to optimize play with Slick 24 (Normal) strings-the standard choice for modern yoyoing. Technical Specifications & Instant Gap Micro-AdjustmentSpecifications: Diameter 58.42 mm / Width 27.9 mm / Weight 51.5 g. Precision Metal Rim Weight Distribution: Revolve specifically enhances inner body weight distribution, significantly increasing rotational inertia to deliver unprecedented spin power and rock-solid stability. Instant On-the-Fly Gap Micro-Adjustment: String behavior easily fluctuates with humidity and temperature. Revolve features an effortless gap adjustment mechanism—eliminating the need for tedious old-school modifications—allowing players to dial in their optimal setup anytime, anywhere. From beginners to top pros, players can immediately experience its top-tier maneuverability without complex configurations. Homage to 2002: Henson first experienced adjustable 2A yo-yos and starburst/puck systems back in 2002. Revolve incorporates these classic foundational concepts, refined over two decades of competitive experience to meet modern standards. Uncompromising Precision & Structural ReliabilitySingle Cavity Molding: Manufactured using single-cavity molding technology to ensure optimal pressure uniformity during injection molding, fundamentally enhancing overall structural stability and balance. High-Precision CNC Metal Inserts: Core metal nuts are crafted via precision CNC machining, delivering dimensional accuracy and concentricity that far exceed conventional off-the-shelf hardware. These precision CNC metal components are seamlessly concealed inside the body, maintaining a minimalist profile. Perfect Alignment via Insert Molding: Thanks to advanced insert molding technology, the metal components are locked precisely at the absolute center of the yo-yo body during molding, guaranteeing perfect roundness and completely eliminating axle misalignment. Revolve is more than just a 2A yo-yo—it is a masterclass in merging 1A design aesthetics with the pinnacle of 2A competition needs.
