Bright, hot pink blooms with a clean, classic ball form. Sandra is a high impact, high yield variety that never blends into the background. The colour is bold and saturated, the blooms are perfectly round, and the plant produces steadily all season. This is a true market workhorse that growers rely on year after year. Form: BallBloom size: ~3–4″Site: Full sunDays to maturity: ~80–100 daysPlant spacing: 12–18 in for airflow and strong stemsPinch: When plants reach ~12 in tall to encourage branching and increased stem count Plant notes for Canadian farms:Expect plants around 3½–4 ft tall with long, straight stems and excellent productivity. Sandra is widely grown as a cut-flower staple thanks to its uniform bloom size, strong stems, and reliable colour. The hot pink tone reads vibrant and saturated in northern light and stands out beautifully in market bunches and summer bouquets. Because the blooms are true balls, they hold their shape extremely well in the field and post-harvest, making them easy to bunch and transport. Staking is rarely required unless grown in very exposed sites. Important things to note: Listing is for one tuber. Dahlia tubers will begin shipping on May 1st, weather permitting.
