STELLA HARRY LEESan Francisco, California Stella is an independent material and product designer whose work explores the future of materials and our relationship to them. Her pract ice began as a way to process her experiences in corporate design—shaping products for consumers while being one herself, drawn in by the dreams sold by brands. This dual role sits at the heart of her work, prompting her to question her own habits and responsibilities as both designer and consumer. Using materials like discarded packaging and secondhand fashion, she reworks the waste we produce and reflects on the systems we’re all part of.
