NZ Made Single Bed Base | BroDeals New Zealand This NZ made single bed base is built on a solid pinewood frame and upholstered in high quality fabric, giving a single mattress firm, even support. It arrives fully assembled rather than flat pack, so the only job left is screwing the feet in by hand. Headboard fittings and bolts are included, making it easy to add a standard headboard whenever you like. Why It Stands Apart Made in New Zealand: Built locally rather than imported, so you are buying a base made to NZ standards. Solid pinewood frame: A pine frame gives the base the rigidity a mattress needs to sit flat and last. High quality upholstery fabric: The fabric covering means the base looks finished on its own, with or without a valance. Arrives fully assembled: Not flat pack, so there is no building to do — simply hand-screw the feet into place. Headboard ready: Headboard fittings and bolts are supplied, so fitting a standard headboard is straightforward.
