The Raspberry Wine is produced using 100% ripe American raspberries with no artificial flavors or colors, a commitment the winery maintains across its entire fruit wine lineup. There is no artificial or candied character — the aromatics read as genuine fruit.Taste: The palate opens with a rush of sweet, sun-ripened raspberry that carries full-bodied fruit flavor from entry through the mid-palate. The sweetness is generous but not cloying, balanced by the natural tartness inherent to raspberries. At 10% ABV, the alcohol stays well in the background, allowing the fruit to remain the focus throughout.Finish: Medium in length with lingering raspberry sweetness and a clean, pleasant fade. The aftertaste holds true to the fresh fruit character established on the palate, with no bitter or artificial notes. How to Drink St. James RaspberryServe well-chilled, ideally between 40–45°F, to highlight the wine's bright acidity and fruit intensity. It drinks beautifully on its own as a dessert wine or afternoon sipper. A Raspberry Wine Spritzer — topped with chilled club soda and a squeeze of lime — makes an easy warm-weather refresher. It also works in a Kir-style cocktail, replacing the traditional crème de cassis to add natural berry sweetness to a glass of dry sparkling wine. For a frozen option, blend it into a Raspberry Frosé, where the wine's bold fruit flavor holds up well against ice and a touch of simple syrup.Best For Introducing non-wine-drinkers to fruit wine with an approachable, naturally sweet profile Serving as a chilled dessert course at summer dinner parties Gifting to fruit wine enthusiasts who value real-fruit production over artificial alternatives Pairing with brunch spreads or afternoon cheese boards featuring soft, creamy selections Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does St. James Raspberry taste like?
