SYNAPSE — Deployable TAK OS Server Node by GoTAK, built on Solace Communications Global-Link hardware SYNAPSE puts the TAK server in the case. It pairs the same rugged 5G / satellite / WiFi comms gateway as the Global-Link with an onboard edge-compute module — NVIDIA Jetson Orin or SBC — running TAK OS as a fully self-hosted TAK Server node. EUDs join the case's WiFi 6 network and the team's common operating picture runs locally: SA tracks, overlays, and mission packages distributed to every connected TAK client instantly — no cloud, no backhaul required. Key Features Onboard TAK Server – TAK OS running on dedicated edge compute; supports ATAK, WinTAK, and iTAK clients Compute options – NVIDIA Jetson Orin or SBC · 16 GB RAM · 256 GB SSD Fully offline operations – pre-load map layers (MBTiles or GeoPackage); the COP runs with zero uplink Radio interop bridge – CoT relay and DataSync connect different tactical radio networks together 20+ devices – WiFi 6 access point plus 1 Gbps and 5 Gbps Ethernet Failover-ready uplink – dual 5G SIM with automatic failover, satellite via Ethernet WAN, WiFi client mode Long-lasting power – 99 Wh internal battery, up to 24 hours of runtime, TSA flight-approved Rugged and durable – military-standard case, shock absorption, IP67-sealed ports, stainless hardware Technical Specifications Dimensions: 321 × 229 × 111 mm — carry-on compliant TAK Server module: Jetson Orin or SBC · 16 GB RAM · 256 GB SSD Connectivity: 5G/4G with dual Nano SIM (4FF) auto failover + WAN failover Speed: peak downlink 2,800 Mbps / uplink 900 Mbps Wi-Fi: dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 — access point and client (uplink) modes Ethernet: 1 × 1 Gbps + 1 × 5 Gbps (LAN/WAN switchable) Security: AES-128 / AES-192 / AES-256 encryption, 175 Mbps IPSec VPN throughput Power: 2 × USB-C PD ports (100 W), 10 W wireless charging pad Battery: 99 Wh, TSA flight-approved, −15 °C to +60 °C operating range GNSS: active GPS tracking
