Created exclusively for the Trollbeads World Tour in South Africa, this sterling silver bead is inspired by the seed bead, one of the oldest and most celebrated forms of beadwork i n the world. A small but deeply meaningful piece, paying tribute to the rich tradition of South African bead craft. This bead is suitable for bracelets, bangles, and necklaces. Crafted with precision from high-quality 925 Sterling Silver, we use a 3,000-year-old technique called ‘cire perdu’ or ‘lost wax’ which allows for finer details to be displayed. Each bead then goes through an oxidization process to create contrast effects and to give them character. Finally, each bead is hand-polished. Show more
