GET YOUR TECH DISC HERE TechDisc Smart Simulator Hardware Options The TechDisc Pro Launch Monitor is a revolutionary training tool designed by disc golfers to accelerate your form progression. By permanently embedding a highly calibrated sensor puck into the center of premium stock plastic, TechDisc captures the complete force and angle profiles of your throw the exact millisecond it leaves your hand. Best of all, you don't need a full field to use it; you can capture complete metrics throwing into a backyard net with less than two feet of free flight. If you want to check out other ways to up your game or organize your field work, browse our full disc golf accessories or grab some fresh premium plastic from our Discraft and Innova collections. Every TechDisc hardware package comes out of the box fully calibrated, pre-charged, and ready to link directly to your mobile device or laptop. The built-in water-resistant hardware handles standard field conditions like morning dew or a surprise rain shower easily, while the internal lithium-ion battery delivers up to 3 hours of continuous throwing on a single USB-C charge. Core Throwing Metrics The TechDisc hardware captures full motion data to deliver six essential data points straight to your screen in under a second: Speed: Track your raw throwing power and release velocity. Spin Rate: Measure your RPMs to maximize your disc's gyroscopic stability. Nose Angle: Instantly diagnose and fix distance-killing nose-up releases. Hyzer Angle: Ensure your release angle matches your intended line exactly. Launch Angle: Control the height of your drives for optimal distance lines. Wobble: Quantify your clean off-axis torque release to eliminate flutter. It excels at: Net practice sessions inside your garage or backyard setup. Form work overhauls with instant backhand, forehand, and overhand tracking. Quantifying consistency between your standstill and full run-up form. Coaching clinics where real-time data visualizes exact player release errors. The TechDisc Web & Mobile App The hardware acts as the capture device, but the free TechDisc core software app is where your throw comes to life. Connecting seamlessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the app logs your historic throw sets, provides clean 2D and 3D flight path simulations based on your release physics, and charts your personal consistency metrics over time. Key software ecosystem elements include: Free Core Account software platform with unlimited throw storage. Available 3D virtual driving ranges to visualize actual simulated flight shapes. Optional "Play" subscription tiers to unlock virtual rounds on iconic courses. Optional "Premium" video capture tools to pair throw data with phone clips automatically. How TechDisc Fits Your Practice Bag A common misconception is that the specific disc mold you choose dictates how the software works. In reality, the sensor inside the TechDisc doesn't care about the plastic flight path—it only measures the physical force you exert on it. The disc shape simply acts as the interface for your hand grip. To give you the most natural release feel possible, TechDisc embeds their hardware into standard, premium molds across the four main categories: Distance Drivers: Available in the classic Innova Halo Star Destroyer or Discraft ESP Nuke. Fairway Drivers: Available in the neutral Innova Halo Star TL3 or Discraft ESP Cicada. Midranges: Available in the world-standard Discraft ESP Buzzz or Innova Halo Star Roc3. Putters: Available in the comfortable Discraft Big Z Luna or Innova Halo Star Aviar. Because the hardware simulates the physics, you can throw a TechDisc Putter into your garage net, tweak the flight numbers inside the app, and watch it simulate how your favorite distance driver would have flown on that exact line. TechDisc Packaging & Release Details Every TechDisc setup arrives ready to unbox, link up, and throw immediately. What is included in your package: TechDisc smart launch monitor (permanently pre-installed on your selected premium mold). USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Physical Quick Start Guide. Free access to the Core TechDisc web and mobile applications. Full 1-year manufacturer replacement warranty for normal net and field usage. TechDisc Simulator FAQ Does the specific disc mold change the data? No. The TechDisc sensor only measures the physical forces, angles, and speeds your hand applies during release. The mold selection is purely about comfort and matching your preferred rim grip width. You can use the software settings to make your midrange unit simulate the flight path of any driver or putter in your bag. Can I install a TechDisc sensor onto my own favorite disc? No, the sensors cannot be purchased separately for DIY installs. Each unit is permanently attached and balanced directly by the manufacturing team during factory assembly to ensure accurate weight distribution and calibration. How much space do I need to use the TechDisc? Surprisingly little. Because the sensors measure release metrics directly from your hand, the unit only needs about two feet of free flight into a heavy-duty practice net to capture a complete, 100% accurate data set. What devices are compatible with the TechDisc app? The system connects wirelessly via Bluetooth. It is fully compatible with iOS devices running 16.0 or higher, Android devices via the Google Play store, and desktop computers or laptops using the Google Chrome browser utility.
