Time NG, designed by Ian Party, is a variable serif typeface that reimagines the timeless elegance of the Times New Roman legacy. Designed for clarity, refinement, and adaptability , it captures the essence of traditional newspaper typography while bringing it into the modern design landscape. Originally crafted for efficient readability in print, the “Times” style became one of the most recognisable typefaces in history. Time NG builds on this foundation, refining its sharp serifs, balanced contrast, and crisp proportions for a new generation of designers. With 12 styles and 2 variable fonts, it offers versatility across editorial design, branding, and digital interfaces.
