The Bugle Leather Firefighter Helmet Shield is the officer-rank design for chiefs, captains, lieutenants, and other department officers using bugle insignia. It is designed around officer identification rather than general firefighter artwork or the optional bugle center offered on Smoke Eater. Use the live preview to enter the available department, rank, company, name, radio identification, or other supported wording. Select the colors and review the bugle arrangement and rank information carefully before ordering. Officer shield with bugle insignia Bugles form the central visual element, while the surrounding text fields identify the department and officer. The layout can be used for individual promotions or coordinated department officer shields while keeping the same overall rank-focused design. Confirm the selected officer rank and corresponding bugle presentation in the preview. Rank terminology and department practices can differ, so the submitted design should match the customer’s own organization. Border and leather finish choices Select a single or double border depending on the amount of framing wanted around the design. Choose a textured main leather body for a tooled surface or select smooth for a flatter presentation. Each Bugle shield is handmade from full-grain leather. The available combinations change the border and surface treatment while keeping the officer-focused layout. Sizing and mounting Choose the dimensions that match the helmet and shield holder from the available size options. Measure before ordering. The shield ships unpunched so the mounting holes can be positioned for the customer’s hardware. Bugle versus Smoke Eater Choose Bugle when officer rank and bugle insignia define the entire shield. Smoke Eater is a premium dimensional design that can optionally place bugles in its center but retains raised banners and layered beveling. Compare the Smoke Eater Leather Firefighter Helmet Shield when that dimensional construction is the priority. This rank-focused structure keeps officer insignia distinct from decorative center artwork.
