THOUGHTLESS captures the lightness of a mind at rest. A bright turquoise sky, edged with soft white clouds, rests over a rolling line of lime-green hills, while below lies a deep f orest green, flecked with touches of rust. Painted with a palette knife over a dark ground, the long, sloping line seems drawn without a thought, simply following the movement of the hand across the canvas. Its slim, panoramic format suits the space above a bed, a long sideboard or a desk.
