Location - Newport, RIStoryI've photographed the ocean a thousand times. This is the frame I kept coming back to - the exact instant the wave breaks and goes quiet, the physical ex hale of a breath. It's not a piece you notice once and forget. It's the kind you catch out of the corner of your eye a hundred times a week, and each time it's still captivating. Bold enough to hold a wall on its own, quiet enough to exhale in front of. Hang it where you need the noise to stop - where it can meet you first thing in the morning, or settle an entire room. Show more
