Kooks Header Tumbling Services If tumbling services are purchased without the purchase of new Kooks headers, a Kooks representative will reach out to coordinate shipping details for used header services. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from the tumbling facility. Please note that pricing for used headers may vary based on condition and overall wear, and is determined after assessment. Kooks Header Tumbling smooths and refines stainless steel headers by removing burrs, sharp edges, weld discoloration, and surface contaminants left from the manufacturing process. This controlled finishing process creates a cleaner, more uniform surface while improving overall appearance and prep for coating or final installation. The result is a smoother-to-the-touch header with enhanced surface consistency, reduced imperfections, and a professional, finished look — built with the same performance-driven precision Kooks is known for. This service isn’t just for new production parts — it’s also available to auto enthusiasts looking to refresh their used headers. Whether you're restoring a set, cleaning up surface wear, or bringing life back to previously installed headers, our tumbling process helps restore a cleaner, more refined finish. Pricing for used headers may vary based on condition and overall wear, and is determined after assessment.
