100% Natural Handmade Essential Oil Soap Bar This natural turmeric soap bar is handcrafted using Australian olive oil, shea butter and organic turmeric — one of the most celebrated ingredients in traditional skincare, used for centuries across South and Southeast Asia for its brightening, anti-inflammatory and skin-supporting properties. The scent is warm and bright — lemon and litsea cubeba open with a sharp, clean citrus zing, while cardamom and clove settle underneath with a soft, exotic spice. Organic turmeric gives each bar its rich golden colour naturally, with no synthetic dyes. It lathers gently, rinses clean, and leaves skin soft and glowing. 100% natural cold-process soap bar Small-batch Vegan-friendly Natural & certified organic ingredients Scented with pure essential oils Coloured with natural clays & botanicals No synthetic fragrance or artificial colours No palm oil Generous 130-140g bar Made in Moreton Bay, Qld, Australia $9.95 flat-rate shipping Australia-wide FREE SHIPPING on orders $50 and over Q&A What does turmeric actually do for skin? Turmeric has been used in natural skincare for thousands of years. It's one of those ingredients with a long, well-documented history of traditional use. It contains curcumin, a naturally occurring compound traditionally associated with brightening, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In a soap bar it's a gentle way to bring those benefits into your daily routine without any harsh actives or synthetic additives. Is the turmeric organic? Yes. The turmeric powder used in this bar is certified organic, chosen for its quality and potency. Not all turmeric is equal, and using organic turmeric powder means you're getting the real thing, without pesticide residues or fillers. Will turmeric stain my skin yellow? This is the question everyone asks, and the answer is no, not with everyday use. The turmeric is used at a concentration that gives the bar its beautiful golden colour without leaving a yellow tint on the skin. Rinse well and you're good to go. What's glycerine? It's a natural byproduct of cold-process soapmaking. It's an amazing skin-loving humectant that draws moisture to the skin, maintains its natural barrier and leaves it feeling soft. It's one of the reasons cold-process soap feels so different on the skin compared to commercial soaps where the glycerine is removed and sold off separately. Because glycerine is so effective at drawing moisture from the environment, it's also the reason why you should keep your soap high and dry, away from water, in a well-draining soap dish between uses. Will it be gentle on my skin? Yes. Australian olive oil, shea butter and turmeric are all gentle, well-tolerated ingredients. This bar is made with no synthetic fragrance or artificial colourants, which makes it a good choice for skin that reacts to conventional soaps.
