We’ve all heard of tarot decks, palm reading, runes, and various other ways of telling the future. But have you ever heard of tyromancy? It’s the practice of using cheese to divine the future. Allegedly starting in Ancient Greece, fortune tellers used cheese to predict future events. There’s a multitude of ways to use cheese to predict your fate, often coming down to particular characteristics of whatever cheese is being used: How many holes are in the cheese? What’s the texture? Are there any shapes or symbols clearly shown in the cheese? Alternately, if presented with a variety of cheese options, whatever cheese you chose was a symbol of your future prospects. The power of cheese is amazing. Next time you’re searching for some answers, we recommend you give tyromancy a try. At the very least, you know your immediate future will contain eating some delicious cheese. Scent Notes: Milk and sparkling amber, cumin CO2, bitter almond, white musk.
