Frequently Asked Questions What is Super Resolution / Super IR technology? Super Resolution (or Super IR) is UNI-T's image enhancement technology that uses algorithmic processing to increase the effective resolution of thermal images beyond the native IR detector resolution. For example, a 256×192 native detector can produce enhanced 512×384 images. This provides more detail for identifying small thermal anomalies without increasing hardware cost. Can I generate reports from the UTi640J? Yes. UNI-T provides free PC analysis software for generating professional thermal inspection reports. Images can be transferred via USB, Wi-Fi (on supported models), or SD card. The software supports temperature analysis, annotation, and PDF report generation. What's included with the UTi640J? The UTi640J ships with the thermal imager, lithium battery, USB charging cable, carrying case, and user manual.
