xtra math is a free online program focused on building fluency with basic math facts using quick, timed practice sessions. Students log in for a few minutes a day to answer as many addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problems as they can, while the system tracks which facts still need work. Created by a nonprofit, it’s intentionally plain and distraction-free so kids focus on accuracy and speed rather than games. Homeschool parents appreciate the clear progress reports and the zero cost, especially when used across multiple children. The timed format can feel stressful for some learners, so short sessions and a supportive tone are key. Show more
