Broadway is a treble booster and germanium preamp inspired by the original Rangemaster circuit. A treble booster actually performs both low-cut and mid-boost, cutting out unwanted frequencies and boosting them until the amp is sufficiently driven. As a result, the low frequencies don't saturate, and while it produces a thick, fuzz-like distortion characteristic of germanium pedals, the sound doesn't get muddy even when playing chords. The tone control is a 3-way switch, much like the one on the 1952 Broadcaster (the ancestor of the Telecaster), allowing you to change the sound as if you were switching the pickup position on a real guitar. The Tropical Fish capacitor and OC44 germanium transistor create a wide-range sound reminiscent of a "Telecaster sound," along with the volume boost.Dimensions: W12 × D9.5 cm Power supply: 9V / 5mA / Center negative. *When using a power distributor, it is recommended to use one with an isolated circuit. Using non-isolated ones or daisy-chaining them will cause noise.
