Tape delay originated in the late 1940s when Les Paul used two Ampex Model 200A™ open-reel tape recorders in tandem. Later, in 1953, Ray Batts developed the first practical tape de lay unit, the Echosonic™, followed by Mike Battle's Echoplex EP-1™ in 1961 and Roland's Space Echo™ in 1974. The 3 Series Tape Delay is a simple and faithful homage to these classic units. The JHS Pedals 3 Series is a collection designed to deliver high-performance, simple-to-use pedals without sacrificing quality. They are manufactured in our Kansas City, Missouri, factory using high-quality parts and with meticulous attention to detail. Each pedal features three simple controls and one toggle switch, offering a wide range of sounds suitable for beginners and professional players alike. Its affordable price will inspire your performance and lead you to new sounds. Show more
