The beloved fuzz pedal in the bass world now has a long-awaited sequel! The Bass Big Muff Pi 2 is a model that fuses the history of the Big Muff, a pedal beloved by bassists, with the legendary Op-Amp fuzz circuit that never materialized. The original 1970s circuit has been revived through a collaboration with Josh Scott of JHS Pedals, and its unique tone has generated considerable buzz. This model is optimized for bassists who seek a superb fuzz sound without sacrificing low frequencies. The Bass Big Muff Pi 2 retains the original's powerful midrange grind, the Big Muff's signature flexible EQ, and virtually limitless sustain. The base model features VOL/SUSTAIN/TONE controls, plus a BLEND knob and a BASS BOOST switch. The BLEND knob allows you to mix the original signal with the fuzzed signal, achieving an ideal distortion balance while maintaining clarity and deep bass. Turning on BASS BOOST adds even more powerful bass, especially when the TONE is set high. These additional features allow you to create your ideal fuzz tone without sacrificing wall-shaking bass. The Bass Big Muff Pi 2 features a true bypass footswitch that supports both latching and momentary operation. Normally, a click activates latching mode, while holding it down adds a momentary fuzz effect that lasts for just a moment.Key Features: ■ Unique Big Muff Pi circuit design employing two dual operational amplifiers ■ Bass-optimized specifications with emphasis on low-frequency enhancement ■ VOL/TONE/SUSTAIN controls ■ Wet/dry mix adjustment with BLEND knob ■ BASS BOOST for further low-frequency enhancement ■ True bypass ■ Latch/momentary switchable footswitch ■ Mechanical relay true bypass via soft-touch footswitch Current Draw: 20mA Power supply: 9V battery or 9V DC center-negative adapter (sold separately) Show more
